Lego, one brick at a time

I love building lego. I have always loved doing puzzles, and still do love puzzles. But I became the lego builder over the last few years before kids could build their own. I am very good at following the one step at a time instructions. Nat not so much, so I became the designated lego builder. Now kids can build their own with minimal help and I have moved on to lego builds that interest me. This weekend I’ve been working on my hardest one yet, the Typewriter - 2079 pieces, 252 pages of instructions to create a working 1950s typewriter. Not working as in with an ink ribbon, but working as in keys move a hammer and the paper moves through the feeder.

Sometimes when the world feels too hard, like this pretrump #2 world, it is good to sink back into a mindful, one brick at a time. activity. I will post trump thoughts, but not today.
